Our Sunday adventure

It's been awhile since we have had a good family outing. We all delighted in our Sunday "adventure" as we fondly call them. We headed off to the city .....

We decided to take Hugh to the Shrine of Remembrance - our war memorial

Due to our water restrictions, there are not many operating fountains these days, so we had some fun - or I did - playing/photographing here.

At one stage we headed off to Southbank - Melbourne is located on the Yarra River and there was the Sunday market amongst loads of other things to see and do. The funniest thing was probably this busker - aren't they wonderful! Katie and Hugh thought he was a statue - that's the point I told them! LOL! He was brilliant and I was AMAZED Katie had the courage to go up and shake his hand - her other hand never letting go of her Daddy's of course! She is not that brave. I have an even better photo of him on my photo blog.

It was a hazy day but not that cold thankfully.

We did loads of walking and rewarded ourselves with an ice cream on the way home. There are more photos on my photo blog - a bit more artsy!
