Christmas 2008 in photos

Christmas Eve: waaaay excited - sat up to watch the traditional Carols by Candlelight. Went to bed but had to get back up - they could not sleep. Snacks for Santa and his reindeer and even a
special note. Don't forget to leave your stockings out
Christmas Day: Barbies and bikes! Had to go out and road test the bike as it was such a gorgeous day. Then off to lunch with Den's family at Aunty Anne's house. They got a new Wii and that was loads of fun.

Boxing Day: picnic at Hays Paddock with my family - another hot day. We played at the playground and always the kick of the footy and hit with the cricket bat was in order.
My Christmas gift: Den and took me to go and see Wicked! It was AMAZING - how much do I LOVE live theatre! It's been too long. The whole production, cast, costumes, props, humour and storyline. So happy I read the book first and had a really good understanding of the plot. Of course transferring it to the stage many things are left out but on the whole it was a fantastic adaptation. The best part, the two lead girls - EXTRAORDINARY! I would see it again tomorrow.

My kids were the same - couldn't sleep from excitement. Wow love Hugh's new bike! Sounds like you've had a busy few days! Have been meaning to go to Hays Paddock for a while - looks great! Glad to hear that you enjoyed Wicked! I've been trying to talk Mark into going but he's not really interested.... a few people I know have been and they've all loved it. May have to read the book instead!
