Happy Birthday Denny!

Today was Den's birthday! After our big week we had a quiet one at home. Oh ... with the exception of a trip up the street to some local activities at our shops .... jumping castle; free sausage sizzle; animal farm; board games and fire engines. Other than that Den spent the day playing "Call of Duty". He has joined a "clan" now, so he is really into it. Good for him. Katie and I made the cake and that combined with pizza made for one man's happy day.
I just had to throw this shot in of Hugh. Practising my shutter speed with him on the jumping castle. And Den, always camera shy but on his big day I just had to get him.

looks like you guys had fun!! And all the activities I bet he's been waiting for a year to do!!! lol
funny how you get to an age and birthdays are more enjoyable because your children are so excited for your birthday. Mine are keeping a secret from me right now. My b-day was the third, but we are planning a surprise party for me on sunday!! They are beside themselves with excitement, planning all the things they want to surprise me with. lol!!!!

can't wait. Hope to have some pics up too.
have a great one,

Happy Belated Birthday! And good on you for wearing the birthday boy button... I'm not sure I could get my hubby to do that - that's a lie - I KNOW he wouldn't! In fact, William took his off rather quickly as well! William turned 2 on Sunday the 5th.
