Little steps in a big world

I am so proud of my girl. Nothing big, but in our little world it is. Every day since she started creche in March she sooks when I leave and I have to hand her over to one of the carers. Today she went off with her little friend. In fact as we stood there chatting to her little friend, Katie threw her arms around her and gave her a big hug then off they went to play "mummy's and daddy's" *sigh*

Ah, these are the moments we hope for but then when they come, we think, "oh, my baby's growing up"!

Sophia was very shy and clung to me when I was dropping her off at gymnastics class and a little friend came up took her by the hand and off they went together! It melted my heart! And I could have hugged that little girl!

So great to hear that Katie is settling in and has a special friend!

Aww...that is great! A milestone for sure! Some days Rosie marches of with barely a goodbye and others she doesn't want me to leave. I'm always smiling when she's chattering away like a big girl to her friends or teachers. It makes it so much easier!!
