Thanks to a wonderful and encouraging Dad (for there is NO WAY I would be doing it) April was out of the cage last night and this morning and Hugh could not wipe the smile off his face as he got to hold her good and proper and she crawled on him "just like in the books". Now just to remind him he is only to do it when DAD IS AROUND! YIKES! Also thank you to Grandma/Pa who are away on holidays but sent a lovely little package for the children. Katie added to her gorgeous jewells (can a girl ever have too much??) and Hugh received the Australian bushland sticker book. Well, as ever, my industrious boy had to create there and then. So a "display Mum" was created in his room. A whole dedicated corner to said "display" even with a line and sign saying "do not past"! Gotta love that.

I love the photo of Hughie with April...fantastic!! Before long Hughie will be holding April on his own...lol to the corner display...too funny!!
eeeek!! not sure if I would cope with a mouse on my shoulder LOL!! It's lovely that he loves her so much!
