Happiness is having someone to care for

So Den's sister (thanks Anne) bought Hugh a mouse for his birthday. I am not overly thrilled about this but the absolute JOY it is bringing my boy is mind blowing. For the past however many days all I have heard about is bionicles! Now its bionicle what? Hahaha! This little creature, now named April, has filled a spot in my son's heart. Although we have a cat, he has had a longing for a little something to pour all his love on. This is one lucky mouse ...... "Mum, I just love her so much and want to take such good care of her". The birthday money he has received which was to go on bionicles is now seriously being shifted over to "what would make April happy....toys? food?". OMG!! All I can think of is the girl who steals my boys heart (of the two legged variety in years to come ...YEARS might I add) will be one lucky duck!

Dear Helen,
it is beautifully you it has to see how much fun. I hope you and your family are well. I have inserted a translator on my web page now. My page makes it possible in English for you now, too, to read it. Perhaps you feel like it to try it out whether it works.
Much loves greetings from Germany

i love that..."YEARS to come!" I feel ya! he is such a darling boy, and whomever steals his heart will be lucky indeed. My DS has been wanting a mouse ever since we "trapped" one at our old house and disposed of it (he was NOT happy!!). hehe.

Have a great day Helen! **Leiko

O, ohh.... a cat and a mouse in the house! I saw some Disney movies where they are really good friends. But in real life I would be scared that your cat would rather make lunch then friends!

Heartwarming to hear that your son fell in love with it! That's so cute!
