A week of toilet training and wobbly teeth
What I thought would be a quiet week turned otherwise. Katie has taken it upon herself to start toilet training - I was waiting for the weather to get a little bit warmer, however, far be it for me to say no. Thinking of incentives we have had smarties and a few "Pocket Polly's" along the way and she is doing remarkably well - at home! Too scary to think about being out and nature calling LOL. For you see it is such a novelty that she is running around the house in undies and going to the loo every five seconds. Then I thought about blowing bubbles - well!!! You think she was suffering some form of incontinence the amount of times she is going in an attempt to go out and blow bubbles. The other story is whilst playing with her brother on Wednesday night she fell (not for the first time in her short life) and put her tooth through her lip. Okay...been there, done that. The variation this time is the next morning when I checked her lip I realised her front tooth was loose. EEEEEKKK! I felt sick! Just two or three years too early for that - despite her being happy for now she would be like Hugh!! Now we play the waiting game for the next 2-3 weeks to see if it will firm up again and eat a smorgasboard of soft bite sized food. Argh! As my mother would say "KIDS"!! So here she is, running around in her undies, chasing bubbles - even has monster (cat) helping her!
