Exciting news ....

I am so sorry. Time got away from me - how wonderful you all are! Now it will probably not be that exciting at all LOL, I let the suspense build for too long. I have been so busy that if I don't sit down and blog now, the weekend will most certainly be over.

So much has happened I might work my way backwards.

Yesterday we went on a family adventure. The weather was looking doubtful but the sun did shine and as we returned home the rain came tumbling down, so everything was just meant to be. Gosh it was good to get outdoors, get away and take some photos at long last. You know I worry about my photographic style - always full face portraits. Sorry about that. It's just that I don't do scenery shots that well.

We headed off to our fave spot at Phillip Island. Yes, the beach in winter but the kids had a blast. We found a cosy nook out of the wind and they played and played and played. There was a rocky outcrop and they had a tree house and their imaginations were running wild. Got to love that.

At one stage I went to spy on them and this is what I captured from atop the hill.

Hugh was having so much fun and very tolerant of the annoying little sister who just follows him around EVERYWHERE. I was anxious to see how the situation below would be resolved.

I need not have worried. Brotherly love came to the rescue.

What would the day be without a few bumps and bruises that needed special kisses better.

And nothing that a walk with Daddy could not fix.

It would seem my kids LOVE the beach any kind of weather.

Katie was thrilled to be stepping out in this hat. What a dag!

And it's always rather sad when you are told it's time to go home.

And this is probably my fave photo of the day ... biscuit crumbs around the mouth and all LOL.

Now onto other news ......
It is very exciting to announce that Sue Cummings is opening a new store at Two Little Pixels. A whole new range of products at a new location. Here is a preview of new products.

And a couple more pages for the wonderfully talented Nina and Natasha. Who would ever thought I could do and enjoy extraction and fantasy pages so much. The funny thing with the Katie page is that the top of her head was cropped off on the original shot - LOL - thus the crown and merge with her head from another shot. Got to LOVE photo editing.

Oh and in case you were wondering, this was meant to be the "exciting" news *embarrasssed*. In my continued effort to stretch my scrapping self this year and look outside my box, I am thrilled to tell you all that for the next two months I have a guest spot with the incredibly talented Shen from "Creashens" and her inspiring CT. I am so excited and thrilled at this opportunity and grateful to Shen for giving me this chance to expand my creativity.

So stay tuned for some rockin' Creashen pages from her two stores Catscrap and/or Two Little Pixels.
