Fabulous long weekend!

I had been looking forward to this long weekend and thankfully it did not disappoint! We attained the perfect balance in all we did. Time for rest and adventures, reading and computing, movies and walking, time at home and time spent away exploring, play with friends and quiet time, food and drink. All in all a rather merry time. The highlight would have to be our trip down to one of our favourite destinations Cowes, Phillip Island and gosh! I got some good photos. You can see more at Flickr.

Took a few goes but finally I secured that natural smile.

This shot is very precious to me.

Fish and chips on the beach for lunch.

Some pier photography fun.

Great pizza delivery service and handsome too!

Ahhh...pizza (well rice crackers and cheese for gluten intolerant me) and champagne to end off a perfect beach day.

Den was kind enough to wait for the perfect end of day light for me to take some fun shots.

I want to thank Den for an awesome weekend. He gave so much of his time to his family. Thank you so much for investing time and effort to give us wonderful times and great memories.

Great photos of a great weekend. You really do have some wonderful family outings.

I love the photo in the previous post of you(?) reading in bed. Is that you? Who took it? It would look great on a bedroom wall. Love it!

Saw 'Australia' last night during a blizzard. I loved it!! Got the map out to see where you lived in relation to the area in the movie.
Hugs to all,
Joni

PS Question... How to you handle a template when there are two parts and one is inside the other. I've played with it and there's no problem getting the outside shape covered but I can't seem to get the inside part to clip in there.
