Almost quite a perfectly harmonious day

Today is Harmony Day. Hugh's school had a great celebration to mark the occasion. Harmony Day is celebrated on 21 March each year. It is managed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and celebrates the cohesive and inclusive nature of our nation and promotes the benefits of cultural diversity.

Did you know:

*Around 45 percent of Australians were born overseas or have at least one parent who was born overseas
*People from more than 200 countries make up the Australian community
*More than 300 languages are spoken in Australian homes

What made our Friday such a good one?

Katie is thriving at swimming - just look at the face

My day was most harmonious finding a little spare time to finish Book 3 of the Twilight Series bathed in autumn sunshine.
Hugh received "Student of the Week" for getting along with his peers. Woohoo Hugh!
And we shall end it all off with take away dinner and some James Bond finally out on DVD. My boys could not be happier.
And as the Chonk said in the car today, "Mum it is almost quite a perfect day".
