Smiles all the way

I really want to enjoy this last year at home with Katie. Today we played loads of jig saw puzzles, built the biggest cubby ever, danced to Hi5 and she started swimming lesssons. I can hardly believe it is almost three years since I did the same thing with Hugh. I had a little bit of trepidation as you never really know which way the cookie will crumble. But the cookie (aka Katie) did not crumble at all. She did not wipe the smile from her face the entire time. Well maybe a couple of times up the deep end and when she had to jump in. But she did it all. Fridays are going to be something to look forward to this year.

So glad to hear it went well - I thought she'd love it! Love the bottom left photo of her sitting on the pool edge with the floaties - too cute!

Katie is growing up right before our eyes. Such a brave little soul. I remember those days.

I also read The Twilight Saga (the 4 books). I enjoyed them... such a fast read and it's fun to read Young Adult books once in awhile. I saw the movie with my daughter.

I love the paper kit by Kami... I will get it when I have a computer. I do shop at O' Scraps but I don't seem to find the neat word art that you do. I get her email too.

I'm now a week behind in my digi class due to my blankety-blank computer. I am working... at least trying to simplify my layouts and use less patterned paper.

Off to dinner!
