Vanity and "THAT" dress - this one is for you Wen!

This post is very much for Wendy....an ongoing joke, guess you might have to be there. Well firstly, I could not resist these photos of my girl, no matter what size the reflection she is sure to find it and spend time looking at herself! LOL! But that is not the joke! Funny though :)
The joke is this...Wendy sent Katie this wonderful Barbie outfit (see below). Stunning blue "Princess dress" as Katie calls it. It is so wonderfully lacey that all those little Barbie fingers get stuck in it time and time again ... of which I have repeatedly thanked Wendy for sending. My fellow mothers of daughters will understand the "joy" of having to constantly dress and re-dress those fiddly little Baribe outfits. So, I came up with a brain wave today....let's go strapless! Despite the fact that the lacey sleeves are so torn, "singing Barbie" looked far more stunning singing in her new strapless outfit wouldn't you say. Hehehe...thanks Wen MWA!

Oh I love singing Barbie - I've never seen one of those before! I think the dress looks good strapless might have to do that with a few of Ella's Barbie's dresses. LOL to Katie looking at herself in the reflection on the car - that is just too cute! Hope you are having a great long weekend!

Great story! Barbie has sure come a long way...a few years ago I saw Abby with her "Dance with me Barbie"..(accomplished with electrode things on Abbys ankles and wrists that the Barbie mimiced her movements). Never imagined they would come up with one that sings!
Love the strapless dress! Clever Mom!
