Saturday photos....so far (hehehehe)

A long weekend people! Long live the Queen! Of this country - nah! Whatever! So three days of taking photos! Woohoo! With a certain "frame in a frame" challenge in mind, here are some warm ups:
Last week I was seeing not stars but feet. This week wherever I turn I see it in a frame. This framed candle made for a nice shot.
Hugh setting up his mouse maze (refer below)
Even looking at the munchkin I could see how her hair "framed" her face. Yikes! Any excuse to photograph that face. Last week all I could think about were feet - ewwww - this week it's framing shots. Isn't it amazing how when you start looking for it you see it everywhere. Can't wait for the next two days to unfold.
Of course once I got the camera out, I never have a problem with my "model" (hehehe sorry Wen and Nance - got to be some advantage to having a girl) she can strike a pose any ol' time. Got to love that. Looks like an angel doesn't she *snort* villain in disguise I tell people.

Getting a bit artsy here ..... but having lots of fun ..... hehehehehe.

So the mouse maze story. Last night Den suggested Hugh make April (the mouse) a maze to run in made out of leggo no less. So here she is ..... gooooooooooo April!

gorgeous shots helen, love the candle, and those portraits of katie are beautiful. i know what you mean about photographing girls, i'm thankful i have friends with girls, they so love to have their picture taken, and i'm secretely hoping for my cousin to have a girl (due in november). About the framed shots, i was driving to work yesterday morning and everything i looked at seemed to be "framed", it's funny how that happens. off to a wedding today, maybe i'll get something there. p.s. the maze was a great idea!

Awesome shots...AGAIN!!!!!!! Love them all, but the ones of Katie and the candle are my faves!!!! She constantly reminds me of Jess...who jumps in front of the camera as soon as it's in my hands. Lexi hates it, and it shows...that's why I don't have as many shots of her. Again, fabulous shots here- GREAT color!!!
