Memories of childhood
Today was one of those spectacular autumn days - one right out of the box. I took the opportunity to get the camera out and take some candid shots. I firstly would like to thank my dear and long standing friend Carey. The flowers you sent for my birthday last weekend were stunning. I hope you enjoy here (and at Flickr) looking at just how gorgeous they were. To the rest of the shots, today was a big play day with our neighbours/extended family The Whites. These four children are quite remarkable and days like today is the stuff memories are made from. They have played all day - chalk drawing, bikes and scooters and then out the back for over two hours with a cubby. Not one bad word was passed and they amuse themselves so well for so long with so little. Their imaginations are something to behold. Well done little people! Thanks also for providing me with some great candid portraits. Oh .... almost forgot a cooking lesson for the chonka. Den was cooking up a storm - gluten free extravaganza - apricot slice, paella and pancakes! I will just have to roll around this house! Click here to see more photos!
