A reunion like no other!

HE HAS ARRIVED!!!!!! Yes....still the infamous Wattle has not shown his face since that doomed day two weeks ago. Any other teddy - any other teddy - and it would not have mattered. Thankfully Daddy came up with the story of how Wattle had gone on holidays and would soon be back....from "ebay-land"....looking as - you guessed it - as good as NEW!!! LOL!!! The children were so delighted to see a package on our doorstep today - Hugh joining in the celebrations as much as anyone. All the teddies were once again bought down (here I get a bit nervous for this is how Wattle went missing in the first place!) and were assembled to meet and greet the prodigal son! Well for a few minutes anyway before all hell broke loose and chaos descended. So munchkin is presently down for her afternoon snooze happily cuddling her "Wattle". On a couple of side notes - please pay attention to my son's hair in the photo. With sweat pouring down my brow this morning I was able to replicate the success story from the hairdresser yesterday. Thank you God! We also went to get Hugh's eyes checked. They have improved in only three months on half strength lenses! YEY! It would seem that full strength is still out of the question as it would undo all the good we have done in this short time. So we have opted for 75% strength of what he needs. Best of all they will change the lenses under warranty! So as my boy pointed out in the midst of our Wattle celebrations today "this is the best day Mum!"

I keep wondering what will happen if the OLD wattle shows up. . . ? A long-lost twin brother, perhaps?

LOL...I had the same question Angie had...Ekkk...I think that is great about Wattle being home from Holidays!! I love that photo of Katie cuddling him, to sweet!! Hughies hair looks good Mum!! Now what I want to know is how long are you going to be able to keep it looking like it is supposed too?
Yea to Hughies eyes and prescription strength...That is FANTASTIC!! Thank goodness the lenses are still covered under the warranty, that is a blessing!! I know when I got my glasses I paid $300 for them...One lense cracked and guess what it was the day after the warranty expired, rotten luck for me!! Grr...I agree with Hughie it's been a Good day!! Except for that dratted blue lace Barbie gown and a bitten finger, Ekkk, LOL....
